ASSEMBLY WORKER - Homestead Structures
Position Summary:
In this position, as a Jack-of-all-Trades, you will play a critical role in manufacturing cottages, performing all trades necessary for the production of highly functional cottages. Work hand in hand with other team members to keep a smooth workflow going and eliminate stoppages. This will require lots of attention to detail to ensure that every cottage is functioning properly, built to RVIA requirements, and ready to perform for dealerships and campgrounds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Roles:
All Trades: Perform all trades including framing, siding, roofing, window & door, drywall, painting, trimming, kitchen & bath, and other technical or construction trades.
Fully Assembled: Assemble high quality, fully built structures, ready to ship to the customer without flaws in the product.
Cottage Production: Support and maintain high standards of quality along with a continuous improvement of production efficiency.
Secondary Roles:
Create and maintain organized and efficient workspaces.
Collaborate with other departments and assist other areas as per demand.

Required skills/abilities:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
Construction Experience (3+): Is experienced in construction and is able to read and understand complex construction plans. Is knowledgeable in all RVIA requirements.
Problem Solving: The individual identifies problems, gathers and analyzes information skillfully, and is able to pinpoint issues quickly to resolve in a timely manner.
Quality Management: The individual looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

Process Knowledge: Awareness and knowledge of all processes/procedures for pool house and cottage specs & quality.
