FRAMER / EXTERIOR - Homestead Structures
Position Summary:
In this position, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process of pool house kits and cottages. This will include framing floors, walls, gables, rafters, ramps, and roof systems etc., as well as assisting assembly with exterior siding, trim, windows, doors, and roofing. A high level of workmanship will be expected. This work will be physically demanding you will also need to be flexible to assist other departments in order to maximize the workflow.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Roles:
Wall & Parts Framing: Frame walls, gables, rafters, ramps, and roof systems to the drawing specifications. Ensure high quality workmanship and improve efficiency.
Cottage Exteriors: Assist the assembly department with high quality finish of all exterior aspects of the cottages.
Assist Assembly: Be flexible to shift and assist other departments to maximize the workflow.
Secondary Roles:
Create and maintain organized and efficient workspaces.
